Welcome to Flare magazine, a showcase of interesting jewellery, quirky accessories and off-beat fashions for the shopper who wants to dress in a way that’s a little more than just throwing on the same style that everyone else is wearing. Whether it’s a different way to assemble some high-street favourites, how to perk up a charity shop find, or a secret stash of unique handmade or upcycled jewellery and accessories, our mission is to bring you inspiration for a unique and distinguished wardrobe.

We’ll be looking all over the web and beyond for the perfect accessories to help you look surprising at a summer picnic, and searching for original autumnal ideas for bonfire parties. We’re also hoping to unearth a few treats that will make sure you cause a flurry or two in the office, and we’ll make sure to keep investigating new ways to wear tried and tested ideas.

All kinds of quirky jewellery, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and brooches are our quarry; and we’re certainly not averse to hats, scarves, tights, shoes, socks, handbags, kittens, chocolate fudge brownies or gin and tonic (although we don’t recommend that you try wearing all of the above).
